The service in context
An accessible kiosk for customers beginning a repair visit at a Samsung service center. The interface separates product selection, customer information, privacy consent, and completion, alongside a reservation check-in path. PLITSOFT designed and developed the kiosk. The project concerns the customer-facing intake experience: helping visitors provide the information required before service begins.
How people use it
Choose the product and condition
Select a phone, Bluetooth accessory such as a watch or earbuds, tablet, or computer. Illustrated questions ask whether a pattern, password, or PIN lock is enabled. Multiple products require separate registrations.
Provide customer information
Screens explain phone NFC tagging and Samsung-account QR scanning, with manual entry available. A numeric keypad displays a masked contact number. The consent screen distinguishes required and optional permissions.
Complete intake or check in
Repair registration displays a receipt number and printing status. Reservation check-in has its own completion screen, explaining that a message or TV display will announce the assigned engineer.

Capabilities and implementation scope
Visible progress
A step indicator identifies the current stage from product details through consent and completion. Back and home controls occupy consistent positions throughout the sequence.
Distinct input states
NFC and QR guidance, manual entry, lock-state questions, consent, and receipt printing are represented as separate interface states with clear next actions.
Public-terminal controls
Magnification, accessibility, and assistance controls remain at the bottom. Product illustrations, a numeric keypad, and selected-state styling distinguish different customer tasks.
